We present a digital pre-distortion technique to improve the fidelity of entangling gates in trapped ion qubits. By characterizing and correcting the non-linear response of an acousto-optic modulator, our method enables accurate modulation of the optical field, allowing for fast and robust multi-tone entanglement gates without fidelity loss. This approach is straightforward to implement and compatible with advanced waveform modulation schemes.
